We stayed in the Salmon Room and it was a grand time. The bed was comfortable and our bathroom had an iron-clawed bath tub that was quite relaxing. The grounds of the Fish House Inn are very well maintained and the people who run it are very friendly and attentive. While we didn't stay in the camp sites, they did look like great spots to park your RV. We definitely would stay here again.

Can't say enough good things....a green oasis in the cutest little town ever! Beautiful green manicured lawn with trees, clean property, warm and friendly owners, we will be back. Stayed here over 4th of July and loved it, David and Lyndee you guys are great!
Fish House is a very small commercial campground, but it is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The campground has sites that can accommodate tents, small RVs, 5th wheel trailers, and big rig motorcoaches, including full hookups and 50 amp service. It also has a small but well maintained bath house. There is a small laundry on site.
I'm riding a cross country bike tour and camped here in May. I loved it so much. The lawn and grounds were beautiful and the owners were so nice. They didn't show up when I searched for camping in the area but I'm glad I found them. I'd love to come back and stay in the in.
This is one of a few attractive campgrounds in the vicinity of the John Day National Monument. In my opinion, it is the best choice in the area.
Very nice place, just outstanding service! So Green especially after a trip through the the high desert. Shows pride in owner ship, plus the caring for the guest. A place not to be missed. The John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is just down the road!
