Not many places on this rd for truckers to eat. This cafe had a parking spot for me. The food was great. And even asked them to make me some special stuff yo go, and they did no problem at all. I will be back!!!

We stop at this little cafe when we travel from the Portland area to John Day. Warm, cheery, and welcoming. Home cooking is reliably good quality. Great home made pies.
Excellent freshly made food and pies. Pleasantly surprised for the only place in town and miles around. We will be back.
Had their bourbon honey pork dinner special and a taco salad..... Absolutely delicious!!!! The waitresses were wonderful... great spot for a home cooked meal!!!! The waitresses even helped us find a local rustic cabin to lodge in that very evening!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!
